They are constructed from pre-fabricated pontoon elements and vary from full concrete pontoons to timber and steel framed pontoons with either concrete or plastic floats. There are many sizes, from 1.8 to 6.0m widths, for different applications. Marinetek's product range is the biggest in the marina business for any marina solution.Marinetek's concrete pontoons are extremely strong and stable. In the process of fabrication, K45 watertight fibre concrete is used in addition to hot-dip galvanised reinforcement. A special substance reduces the shrinking and cracking that is characteristic of thin concrete layers, and also creates a watertight structure. All other pontoon structures are also fabricated using only the best materials and all products undergo strict quality control before delivery. |
